Biking
At the Örtlerhof, the e-bike rental service is organized through E-Bike Rent. Here you can book your favorite bike, which will be freshly serviced and delivered by 8:00 a.m. on the desired day and collected again around 6:00 p.m.
You are also welcome to store your own bike in the new bike cellar – power outlets are available. In Tirolo there is also a mountain bike rental service. A special highlight is the cycling tour through the Vinschgau Valley combined with a train ride. The cycling network around Merano and Tirolo is part of South Tyrol’s excellent bike path system.
Swimming
In the heated infinity pool (16 x 6 m) with massage jets and a beautiful panoramic view, or at the “Water Park” in Tirolo. The public outdoor swimming pool at the entrance to the village offers fun for the whole family during the summer months. Designed in the style of Roman thermal baths and featuring breathtaking panoramic views, it is the perfect place for relaxation and water fun.

Bowling
“Strike!” – enjoy four automatic bowling lanes at the community center, home of the multiple Italian champion club KC Mutspitz. Open Monday to Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Tandem Paragliding
You too can experience these magnificent views, safely harnessed to your tandem pilot, who will guide you gently back to earth. Technical tandem flights with the Italian champion.

Beach Volleyball
Would you like to play beach volleyball and dive through the sand like the professionals? No problem in Tirolo! Against a breathtaking panoramic backdrop, you will find a beach volleyball center with three courts, all equipped with floodlights.
Thanks to its wonderful location at the village entrance and the excellent quality of the sand and facilities, fun is guaranteed. The beach volleyball center is located near the public tennis courts at the corner of Ruprechtsweg and Hauptstraße.

Golf
Golf has also become firmly established in South Tyrol and is attracting more and more enthusiasts. Pleasant temperatures, well-kept greens and fairways, and stylish clubhouses make golfing here a special experience.
There are two worthwhile golf courses near Merano: the Golf Club Merano Passeier and the Golf Club Lana.
The Golf Club Merano Passeier is one of the largest golf courses in the Merano area and South Tyrol. The 18-hole course (Par 71) is located in an impressive landscape at 600 meters above sea level in St. Leonhard in Passeier.
Golf Club Lana, on the other hand, is a charming 9-hole course (Par 36), surrounded by vineyards and apple orchards on the historic Brandis estate.

Climbing
Whether in an indoor climbing hall or on the surrounding mountain peaks – the choice is yours! Few experiences compare to the breathtaking views from 2,000 meters (or higher) over the valleys of the Burggrafenamt region.
Enjoy the mild climate, bright blue skies, and untouched nature all around. Mountain guides provide useful tips and accompany climbers safely up and down the via ferrata routes. For beginners, Merano also offers a dedicated mountaineering school.
